James W. Reffit 66, of Zephyrhills, FL passed away Thursday, April 25, 2019. He was born December 24, 1952 in Columbus, OH to Robert C. & Mary McDorman Reffit and moved to this area 50 years ago from Ft. Myers Beach. He worked at Publix and WalMart in Zephyrhills and was able to share his love of music through numerous events around the community. Jimmy loved his family. He especially loved when family got together - lots of laughter, music playing, and wonderful memories shared by all.

Jimmy is survived by his mother: Sue Reffit; siblings: Gary & Clara Reffit of Hayesville, NC, Jeanie Germain of Dade City, FL; Mike Reffit of Zephyrhills, FL; nieces/nephews: Conny & Matt Collura & Ryley of Webster, FL Kristen & Andy Morgan & Charlee of Dade City, FL, Hope Reffit of Hayesville, NC, Robin Reffit, Drake & Kannon of Fort Myers, FL, Faith Reffit of Hayesville, NC, Joni & Zach Clement & Maggie & Emma Kate of Pilot Mountain, NC, Taylor & Leah Baker & Halle & Polly of Pilot Mountain, NC, Cole Reffit and Chloe Reffit of Zephyrhills, FL; Scott Horn of Zephyrhills, FL; aunts and uncles: Marlene and Willard "Jake" Jakeway of Blacklick, Ohio, Carol Reffit of Zephyrhills, FL; Merle and Donna Reffit of Shelbyville, KY, Terry and Rose Broussard of Erath, LA; and numerous close family, friends and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Robert C. Reffit, uncles: Jack Reffit, Kenny Reffit, Jerry Reffit, Denny Reffit; grandparents: Carl and Chloe Reffit and J M and Martha McDorman.

A Celebration of his life will be held 11am Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
