James Pry passed away peacefully at his home in Zephyrhills, Pasco Co., FL surrounded by family.James was born in Wilson Station near Clairton, Allegheny Co., PA on April 15, 1937. Right out of high school he joined the Navy. He met and married the love of his life Dolores Dugan on September 3, 1960. He then left the Navy and joined the Army so that he could be closer to his wife.Shortly after the birth of their daughter Tracy, he was called to Vietnam in 1967. The Army transferred him all over the world. With family in tow, they lived in France, Germany and a hand full of US states.He retired to Citrus Springs, Florida from the Army after 18 years of service in 1978. He served a total of 22 years between the Navy and the Army.Though he was retired from the military it influenced the rest of his life. Always punctual, strong work ethic and a great sense of family responsibility. He loved his family more than anything.James is preceded in death by his mother Agnes Hancher and brother Kenneth Hancher. He is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Dolores, sister Lois (George) Adamson, brother Butch (Norma) Dunlay, daughter Tracy (Kevin) Price, grandchildren Roger Smith, Joshua Smith and Patience Price and great grandson Kevin Ferguson.
