Moyers, James W. Skip, 59 of Zephyrhills passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013. He was born May 13, 1954 in Knoxville, TN to Argus L. & Joyce L. Riggs Moyers. He was a Phlebotomist and a U.S. Army Veteran. He is survived by his children: Jennifer Leigh Johnson, Matthew James Moyers, Felicia Moyers Sexton, Melissa Farrell Huff Carroll, Jonathan W. Merriman; parents: Argus & Joyce Moyers; brother Mark Moyers; sister: Pam Moyers Price; his life partner: Portia A. Lemons Merriman; numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins; 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. He was preceded in death by 1 son: Anderson Johnathon Moyers; grandparents: Charlie & Ruby Hoskins Moyers and James & Mindie (Luttrell) Riggs; and 3 infant brothers. He was active with the American Legion, the American Legion Riders and ABATE. The family will receive friends for viewing from 6-8pm Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at the 54 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home in Zephyrhills.
