James Raymond "Ray" Morgan, 89 passed away peacefully on July 6, 2023, in Zephyrhills FL where he resided. He was born in Dover FL on June 12, 1934, to parents Harvey D Morgan and Ruby G Morgan. Ray served in the US Army from 1950-1953 when he was honorably discharged. Ray retired from the heat and frost insulators union, Local 67 in Tampa FL where he worked for 38 years.

He was an avid Nascar fan, a hunter, and loved to be outdoors. He enjoyed cooking and spending time volunteering with his service organization Sertoma, Tampa East. Going to the mountains in Murphy NC and especially spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Suzanne Morgan, daughter Kathy Davis, and her husband Bill Davis. Son Jimmy Morgan and his wife Sue Morgan, and bonus daughter Johanna Theel and her husband Bobby Theel. Grandchildren, Will Davis, Cassie Jean McClelland, Steven Davis, Evan Dell, Kayla Morgan Odell, and Conway Theel, and MANY great-grandchildren. His sister Joyce Palmer and brother Dale Morgan. Ray will be joining in heaven his first wife Ruby Jane Morgan, his sister Margie Dupont, and a whole host of close friends and family.

Memorial Service will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Zephyrhills Saturday, August 12, 2023, at 11 am with a luncheon following.
