James Donnie Martin, age 77, passed away September 27, 2026. He is survived by his two children James Cleveland Martin and Lela Martin Neiswender and his three grandchildren Rachel, Lindsay, and Caitlin Neiswender. James was born in Plant City, Florida on January 20, 1949. His parents were James Parley and Ethel May Martin, and he was the youngest of one brother and seven sisters. 

He lived in Crystal Springs for most of his adult life and spent his childhood in Plant City Florida. His father was a minister and instilled a strong Christian faith in James. He was an outdoor sportsman, loved hunting and fishing. His love for carpentry led to one of his greatest achievements, the building of his home. 

Being a jack of trades his love for auto mechanics and completely rebuilding of automobiles ended in many successes. He had a large family and loved his family very much! Being the youngest of 8 children made him remarkably close in age to his nieces and nephews and who he spent most of his time with. 

His first marriage 2/16/1968 to Nicey Loe ended after 26 years and two children, after several years of depression, he was fortunate, to have found someone (Alynn Errasti), battling his same issues and even though they never married after 16years together her death was more than he could bear.
