James Christopher Long, 56, lost his courageous battle with stage 4 colon cancer on May 26, 2023, while in Hospice care. James "Jimmy" was born in Newburyport, Massachusetts on October 9, 1966. He grew up and lived in Hampton, New Hampshire for most of his life, and has lived in various parts of Florida. He loved music, guitars, motorcycles, spending time on the Chassahowitzka River, and going to the beach. He always like to say he lived a life of "mayhem".

He was predeceased by his daughter Ashley Krueger. He was survived by his mother: Linda Gervascio; sister: Kimberly Barnes (Michael); as well as various family members and close friends, one being Mike Liberty that was more like a brother to him.

He truly cherished the people who were always there for him. A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
