IRVINE, James, 60, of Dade City Fl, and formerly of Zelienople, PA, died un-expectly Saturday, February 11, 2012, loving father, brother, compan-ion and friend. Born Nov. 11, 1951, he was the son of James and Gloria (Arnold) Irvine of Zelienople PA. After many years of working for his father at Irvine and tire and alignment in Zelienople, James moved to Dade City area becoming the well respected owner of Men from Mars Automotive in 1987. Second generation dirt track driver, he was an avid racing enthusiast enjoying both dirt and NASCAR racing, old muscle cars and hot rods. He was preceeded in death by his father, James; stepfather, William Nicholson; and son-in-law, Mark Moyer. He is survived by his mother, Gloria Nicholson of Slippery Rock, PA; step-mother, Jill Irvine of Zelienople; daughter, Melissa (Irvine) Moyer of Evans City; son, James Irvine of Zelienople; six sisters, Sherry Bennett and her husband Randy of Zelienople, JoAnne Paris and her husband Dennis of Cranberry Twp, Bonnie Burgard of New Castle, Bobbi Kajewski and her husband Ted of Hilliards, Shellie Cahall and her husband Bill of Portersville, and Tracy Charlier of Harmony; his companion, Karen Holmes of Dade City. Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. Wed, 2/15/2012, at Hodges Funeral Home, Dade City. Friday 2 to 4, 7 to 9 and Saturday 2 to 4, 6 to 8, with immediate service to follow at Boylan Funeral Home, Zelienople Pa. A private memorial will be at 11 a.m. Monday, February 20, 2012, at Pinewood Memorial Gardens, Cranberry Twp.
