James Alvy Fowler, 88, of Dade City, FL passed away peacefully on November 19th, 2025.
He was the son of Horace and Mary Lou Fowler.
Alvy was the last living sibling of Midgie Hamilton, Horace (Buddy) Fowler, Louise Champion Pruitt and Agnes Stancil.
He is now reunited with his loving wife of 66 years, Clara Mae Fowler, their beloved daughter, Debra Ann Fowler and great grandson James Alvy Fowler IV.
Survived by his son James (Bo) Alvy Fowler Jr (Rita) and daughter Donna Fowler Hunt (Matt). Grandchildren Traci Renee Hulsey, James Alvy Fowler III (Shawna) and Danielle Nicole Fowler. Great grandchildren Haylee Rae, Willow Marie, Colton John and Malachi James.
Alvy retired from Multi-Line Can Company after many dedicated years of service.
An avid fisherman and hunter, he found joy on the water or in the woods, but his greatest pleasure was his grand and great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November the 24th, 2025 at Dade City Cemetery. Immediately following the service, family and friends are invited to the home of James (Bo) Alvy Fowler Jr for an ice cream social. Bring your favorite flavor and join us for his favorite pastime, enjoying a bowl of ice cream.
