Obituary

James "Jim" Armstrong, 69, of Dade City, FL, passed away on June 13, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Linda; step-son Jeff Giles (Margeaux); and grandchildren Gemma and Julien, of Tampa, FL; brother Daniel Armstrong of Longview, TX; and multiple aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins, and a niece in Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Rosalie Armstrong, and sister Sharon Mylarski of Oil City, PA.While working over 45 years for now known Century Automotive in Tampa, Jim became like a family member of the dealerships. Jim was highly respected, admired, and loved in the car business. His hobbies included golf, watching all sports, and laughing and being with people. Jim was also known to enjoy "a cold one" every now and again. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club in Dade City, FL on Sunday, June 28, 2020 from 3-6pm. Corona virus safety precautions will be followed. Please bring a protective face mask and practice social distancing. Casual attire is acceptable and encouraged.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
