James Robert Adkins 77, of San Antonio, FL passed away Friday, June 26th, 2020 in Tampa. He was born June 29, 1942 in Dunedin, FL to J.R. & Linda Traxler Adkins. He retired from Publix Grocery Stores and was a U.S. Army Veteran.
He is survived by his wife: Beverly Adkins; 3 children: James Robert Adkins II, Stacy Marie Adkins, Christopher W. Graves; 6 siblings: Rosemary McCaul, John Adkins, Jeff Adkins, Laura West, Jimmie Adkins, Jack Adkins and 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a step-son: Jerry Lee Graves; and 2 brothers: Roy Adkins and Joe Adkins.
Funeral Services will be held 11am Wednesday, July 1st, 2020 at the First Baptist Church of Dade City. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church.
