Jacqueline Marie Wilkison passed away with family by her side on April 14, 2018. Born on February 25, 1936 in New Rochelle, New York, she was predeceased by her husband Robert T. Wilkison, whom she married in 1958, and parents Pauline and Oliver Carletti. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son Mark Wilkison and his wife Shari of Alpharetta, Georgia, her son Kevin Wilkison and his wife Weihong of Phoenix, Arizona, grandchildren Kyle Wilkison of Avon, Colorado and Katherine Wilkison of Alpharetta, Georgia, sister Patricia Sirois of East Hartford, Connecticut, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Bert and Doris Rybicki of San Antonio, Florida, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Richard and Veronica Wilkison of Glastonbury, Connecticut, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jackie and Bob spent most of their married life in Shelton, Connecticut where she worked for many years in the Shelton School system cafeteria. She enjoyed cooking, especially Italian meals for many large holiday family gatherings.

She and Bob retired to San Antonio, Florida in 1998. She was a doting grandmother to Kyle and Katherine and always enjoyed hearing of their most recent school, job and travel adventures. She also knitted and crocheted many blankets, sweaters, and slippers for family and friends. Jackie was the consummate letter-writer, never forgetting a friend or family birthday, a holiday or special event. Her holiday cards always arrived in the mailbox two weeks early.

A service to celebrate Jackies life will be held at Hodges Family Funeral Home Chapel, 11441 Hwy 301, Dade City, Florida, on April 17 at 11:00 am, with private burial at Florida National Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at 10:15 am at Hodges Family Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jackies memory to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, Florida Gulf Coast Chapter, 15435 N. Florida Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33309.
