Ivan John Sinclair Ducker IIIvan "John" Sinclair Ducker, II, born 1/6/1941 in Grenoside, Sheffield, South Yorkshire England to Ivan and Dorothy (Creighton) Ducker. John moved to Boston, GA in 1947 with his mother and step-father, David Lloyd Johnson. John moved to Dade City, FL in 1956 and graduated from Pasco High School in 1958. John was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Korea. He was a truck driver for many years working for Overnight Trucking, Swift Trucking, Belford Trucking, Burks, and managed his own trucking business. After retirement, he worked for DeLaney Resources as Inventory Manager until June, 2015. He was a hard working "man of steel" and enjoyed working outdoors. He enjoyed the beach, being around the salt water and spent many hours cruising the Homosassa River. He made many loving friends, who became family through the years. John was proceeded in death by his mother, Dorothy Johnson, father, Ivan John Sinclair Ducker, step-father David L. Johnson, sister Rita Hays, and nephew Verle Lloyd Johnson. John is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Nora Ducker, daughters Melissa Ducker, Meredith (Ducker) Gunter, and Connie (Ducker) Gordon, and his favorite, one and only granddaughter, MaKinlei Gunter. He is also survived by his sister Christine Huse and brother Verle Johnson, niece Michelle Vanderbilt, and nephew Billy Hays, as well as many great in-laws and other extwnded family members. There will be no viewing or memorial service at the request of "Duck".
