Irene Martin Vengard, born in Scranton, PA on July 24, 1915 passed away November 23, 2014. She was a homemaker and wife of Tom Johansen Vengard, deceased in 2004. They were married for 64 years. She loved gardening and crocheting. Her crocheted angels adorn the homes of hundreds all over the country. She is survived by a daughter Joanna Vengard of Colorado Springs, CO; one son Thomas Martin Vengard of Dade City, FL; three grandchildren, Erin Cutro and husband Brandon, of Austin, TX, Mark Hopkins and wife Iris of Richardson, TX, and Thomas M. Vengard Jr of Florida. She has four great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Abigail, Jacob and Alvin. Two surviving brothers Russell Martin of Quakerstown, PA and Robert Martin of Richlandtown, PA. and many nieces and nephews.
