Irene L. Cotter 89, of Dade City, FL passed away Friday, September 4th, 2020. She was born October 30, 1930 in St. Paul, MN to Karl & Emilia Terenowicz. She and her husband Leo moved to this area 57 years ago and were active members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She owned and operated Countryside Florist for several years and then worked in the Flower department of both Kash-N-Karry and SweetBay for over 25 years.

Irene is survived by 6 children: Terry (Nancy) Cotter, Thomas (JoAnn) Cotter, Kenny (Sandra) Cotter, Theresa Cotter Fiore, Paul Cotter, Mary Jo (Mike) Gude; son-in-law: Glenn Henry; 29 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Leo Charles Cotter; 2 sons: Bernard Cotter, Michael Carl Cotter; 1 daughter: Catherine Cotter Henry; and 1 grandson: Tommy Cotter.

Funeral Mass will be held 10:00am Saturday, September 12th, 2020 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. A Rosary Service will be held 7:00pm Friday evening at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the family will receive friends one hour prior to the Rosary Service.

In light of the CDC precaution guidelines, the family would like to invite friends that are unable to attend services to prayerfully send Spiritual Bouquets.
