I.D Brown Jr. of Lacoochee Fl was born on May 5, 1948, in Talladega Alabama went home to our Lord on December 17, 2022, in Dade City, Fl. I. D. was a very loving and kind man, he would do anything for anyone. He was a man of many talents there was nothing he could not do. He was an acoustical ceiling engineer by trade. He loved to do woodworking. carpentry, mechanical work, he loved to build trucks, motorcycles, etc. in his younger years. He loved his corvette and tinkering with it. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Patricia Pearce Brown of Lacoochee, and children Christine (David) Shanks of Yakima Washington, Jennifer (David) Griffin of Webster Fl, Kevin Brown of Lacoochee fl, and Sandra Brown of Lacoochee, siblings Barbara McKendree of Darby FL, Jonathan (Karen) Brown, Dade City fl, Wesley Brown Webster, Daryl Brown Dade City, Fl, sister in law Glenda Weeks of Groveland FL, 16 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, I. D (Buck) Brown, of Ashland Al, and Myrtis Blankenship of Talladega Al one grandchild John Garrett Kelly, siblings; Roy Blankenship, Billie Ray Brown, Johnny Brown, and Betty Buday, Brother in laws; William (Billy) Pearce and Walter (Lee) Pearce. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Friday, December 23, 2022, from 12 pm to 1 pm at Hodges Family Funeral Home 301 Chapel Dade City, fl, the funeral service will begin a 1 pm followed by the committal service at Chapel Hill Gardens, Dade City, Fl.
