Horace Johnson was born to parents Charles and Mattie Johnson, both deceased, on May 24, 1951, in Dade City, Florida. Horace was married to Dorothy Jones. This union blessed them with three children: Jermaine (who preceded him in death), Shermaine, and Latoya. Horace worked for twenty years in the environmental services industry and was baptized in 2001 at Pine Hills Community Church of Orlando, Florida. He has left to mourn his memory two children: Shermaine from Lucerne, Alabama and LaToya and her husband Conroy Cadore III from Jacksonville, North Carolina; three grandchildren: Jazzrique Johnson, Lakayla Cadore, and Conroy Cadore IV; one sister, Kimberly Altimo from Naples, Florida; one uncle, Cleveland Smith from Washington D.C.; and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends. Horace now joins his parents, brothers, and sisters who have greeted him in God's Kingdom. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 15th, at 1:00pm at Hodges Family Funeral Home's 5th Street chapel in Dade City. The family will receive visitors two hours prior, from 11:00am to 1:00pm Visitation
