Obituary

Gibson, Hoot 84 of Dade City, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015 under the care of HPH Hospice. He was born February 6, 1931 in Moulton, AL and was a longtime area resident. He owned and operated Gibsons Body Shop for 40 years. Hoot was a pilot, a member of the Zephyrhills Airport Authority and a Colonel for the Valiant Air Command. He also volunteered his time with Moore-Mickens Middle School. He is survived by 2 children: Jenny First and Darryl Gibson; sister: Captola White; and 5 grandchildren. A memorial gathering will be held from 10am -12pm Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in his memory to Moore-Mickens Middle School.
