Honor E. Jones, passed away on June 10 at Ponds Edge Assisted Living Facility. She was a former resident of 37947 Hillside Trace Apartments in Dade City. Honor was an RN at several area hospitals. She was born in Barbados, West Indies and lived in London, England where she started her nursing career of over 50 years. Honor then moved to Montreal, Canada where she received her RN degree, then moved to Dade City, Florida. She was an avid world traveler, had a wicked sense of humor, and was loved by many. She leaves to mourn, her beloved daughter: Dawn Jones, granddaughter: Jazmine, sisters: Judy Jones Then and Mavis Hinkson, brother: Lionel Jones, and best friend: Janice Hernandez. Honor was a devote christian woman and before her illness worshiped at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Dade City, Florida. Visitation will be on June 15 at 3:00pm with services following at 4:00pm at Hodges Family Funeral home at our 301 location. May she rest in peace and rise in glory. Celebration of Life Service
