Hildegard Martha Biederer Hennessy 83, of Zephyrhills, FL passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015. She was born May 3, 1932 in Straubing, Germany to Englebert & Ottilie Laschinger Biederer. Hildegard was a Certified Nursing Assistant and very competitive. Her fiercely competitive nature would show thru whether she was running, bowling or playing cards. She enjoyed and valued her time spent with family and traveling with Jim. Her compassion led her to continue caring for people. She was a sponsor to many German citizens, some of whom even lived at her home. She never forgot the elderly and would visit them at their homes, hospitals and nursing homes; all of this, of course, with Jim, the love of her life. She is survived by her children: Ingeborg Kelleher, Plymouth, MA, Arlene Kelleher, Plymouth, MA, Jim Hennessy, Marmora, NJ; 1 brother: Englebert Biederer; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, James F. Hennessy. A memorial service will be held 10am Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zephyrhills.
