In Loving Memory Affectionately known to her friends as "Star", Hestar Collette passed away suddenly at her home. Originally from Friendship, Ohio she retired to Zephyrhills FL several years ago where she enjoyed karaoke, playing corn hole, and spending time with her close friends. Hestar was a recent cancer survivor and a childhood survivor of polio. After the loss of her mother as a youth Hestar spent many years as a resident of the Hillcrest Childrens Home, formerly located in Wheelersburg, Ohio and considered it as her childhood home. Thanks to her dear friend Rose Mowery she was able to reconnect with a few long lost friends from her childhood and remained active in any Hillcrest related event and was one of many to help sponsor the Ohio Historical Hillcrest Childrens Home Marker in Wheelersburg. Hestar was a woman who will be remembered for her kind heart, bright smiles and contagious laughter and is greatly missed by her friends and family. She is the loving daughter of the late Ves and Ella (Estep) Jordan from Carter CO KY. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 5 siblings, Ves Eugene, Margaret Urvina, Cynthia Coey, Hobert Neil and Chester David Jordan Horsley. Her son Glenn G Miller and Grandson Michael P Ramos. Hestar is survived by her brother, James E Jordan. two children; Dean (Lora) Miller, Cathy Miller. four Grandchildren; Jaramiah (Anna) Severns, Glenn (Sara) Miller Jr, Jessica (Bryan) Murphy, Valorie Severns, five Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Her ashes will be placed alongside her mother and son in the Jordan Cemetery, Halfway Br. Rd., Carter Co., KY where the family will hold a private memorial.
