Hermes Diaz, Jr, 89 of Wesley Chapel died Friday, 6/6/2014 at his home. He was born in Ybor City, FL. Hermes was a WWII veteran and POW. He is preceded in death by his wife, Frances Diaz; son, Richard Irving and great grandchild, Kody Berger. Survivors include his daughter, Hedy Cook; son Arthur Irving; daughter, Maureen Guinn; son, Hermes Diaz III; son Michael Diaz and their spouses. Hermes was blessed with 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 10-11 Am Thursday, June 12th at Hodges Family Funeral Home, 301 Chapel. A Funeral Serives will take place 11 AM with burial to follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
