Herbert Alan Taylor, age 82, died Wednesday, October 9th, 2024.

Alan was born July 29,1942 in Tampa Florida to his mother Kona Florence. He was very in tune with his American Indian roots and appreciated collecting dream catchers and wolf items. He was such a kind person who loved his family more than anything.

He met and fell in love with Maryann when they were very young and tied the knot in June 1962. He was by her side for every up and down life threw at them and still they remained in love up until the very end. They were married for 59 years before he lost her, the love of his life. Maryann passed away in December 2021 and Alan stayed behind looking after their rescue dog Chili. He loved her and spoiled her on the same meals he had every night.

He spent most of his career working at Lykes Pasco as a forklift operator. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, and traveling, and making others happy.

He is survived by his two children (Leah Warner, Leith Taylor), four grandchildren (Brandi Warner, DJ Warner, Charlene Warner, Denise Warner), six great grandchildren (Kaitlyn Olds, Ashlee Olds, Tyler Olds, Kaeden Schwartz, Henry Pierce and Mckayla Pierce), and two great-great grandchildren (Laela Bratt, Chase Olds).

No funeral services will be held. In lieu, there will be a celebration of life for Alan Taylor with his family and close friends.
