Herbert "Herbie" Eugene Newsome age 60, of Darby, Fl passed away Monday, October 4th, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Herbie was born on August 22, 1961, in Allendale South Carolina to parents Jack and Annie (Braxton) Newsome who preceded him in death along with siblings; Brooks Stanley, Steve Tuten, a grandchild Jayni Danyelle Williams and nephew Jamie Phillips. Survivors include his loving wife of 32 years Donna (Fleming), children; Jesse (Sheana) Aaron, Derick Aaron, Samantha (AJ) Jones, grandchildren; Makenna (Chaston, Easton), Savannah, Cayden, Noah, Alivia, Georgia, and Roman, as well as his siblings; Carolyn (James) Lane, Janel (Edward) Phillips, Johnny (Alicia) Braxton and Francis (Larry) Pate James (Melinda) Newsome, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Herbie worked as an Industrial Mechanic. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, he enjoyed playing pool with his brothers, bowling, as well adult softball. His greatest joy in life was being a Papa. He loved to cook and spend time with his family. We will truly miss his infectious smile and a warm embrace to know him was to love him. There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at 2 pm at the Ridge Manor Community Center 34240 Cortez Blvd. Come celebrate the life and memories of an amazing man.
