Herbert "Herb" Bishop Herb Bishop, 75, a resident of Zephyrhills, Florida went home to be with the Lord on October 30, 2021. He was born September 7, 1946, in Huntington, West Virginia. He lived in Wilmington before moving to Tampa, Florida where he graduated from King High School and married his High School sweetheart Becky Rhodes. They were married for 53 years. Herb worked for GTE for 25 years. He enjoyed cruising, making stained glass windows, making jewelry and spending time with family. He loved the Lord, his church and was always the first to help a family member or friend in need. Anyone who knew Herb was touched by his love and gentleness. Herb was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Robyn Bishop Herndon. Herb is survived by his wife Becky, his 3 children, Brad (Angel) Bishop, Bob (Stacy) Bishop, Wade (Melissa) Bishop, 6 grandchildren, Kelsey, Jaydon, Mackenzie, Alyssa, Sydney and Emma, siblings, David, Rick, and Tommy. Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Church of Wesley Chapel on November 6, 2021, at 11:00 AM. He will be laid to rest at Bushnell National Cemetery.
