Becker, Herbert A. "Herbie", 44, of Dade City, FL, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2014 at his home. Herbert was born December 27, 1969, to Mary A. (Palmer) Becker Bennett and the late Herbert Bruce Becker. He was a manager at Walmart. Herb enjoyed fishing, gardening, loving his animals, and was a huge Nascar fan, especially Jeff Gordon. He was preceded in death by his father Herbert and his grandparents Paul and Elizabeth Palmer of Stafford, NY. He is survived by his parents Robert and Mary A. Bennett of Dade City; his fianc Michelle A. Forth and her daughter Chantal Forth of Dade City; also his children Amanda, Sam, Matt and Jon Becker of Rochester, NY; his siblings Liz (Tim) Andrews of Eagle, CO, Kathy (Donald) Park of Pavilion, NY, and Robert (Darcy) Bennett of Leicester, NY; and six nieces, three nephews, one great niece and several aunts and uncles. A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:30pm on Sunday, February 9, at Hodges Family Funeral Home 301 Chapel in Dade City, with visitation from 10-1pm at the funeral home. Refreshments will be served immediately following the service at the Hall at Citrus Hill RV Park, 9267 US Hwy 98, Dade City, FL 33525. He will be laid to rest at a later date (June 2014) at Stafford Cemetery.
