Helen Elaine Oxberger (Gray) (Couron) was born to Wyetta Spencer and Earl E. Oxberger on July 11th in Des Moines, Iowa in 1933. Passed away on July 23rd, 2024 with Hospice in Zephyrhills, Florida and was currently a member of the East Pasco SDA Church located in Zephyrhills, Florida. And was also a member of 30 years at the Roebuck SDA Church located in Birmingham, Alabama. She worked as a registered nurse for 60+ years until she was 88 years of age. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Couron married 16 years and her children, daughter, Ivy Elaine McDaniel and son, Calvin Kirby Gray Jr. and grandchildren, Kevin Huey, Calvin Kirby Gray Ill, Bryan Carpenter, Brad Carpenter and four great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and is preceded in death of her first husband Calvin Kirby Gray Sr., and her siblings Leo Oxberger, Jerry Oxberger, Alice Wolvack, and half-brother Lloyd Spencer. She will be dearly missed and rest in the arms of Jesus waiting to be resurrected by the trump that our Savior will sound to be changed in a moment and a twinkling of the eye to live life eternal.
