BIRES, Helen, age 92, of Zephyrhills, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020. She was a native of Pittsburgh, PA. Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Joseph T. Bires. She is survived by her children: Patricia A. Koehler (Volker) of Zephyrhills, Joseph P. Bires of Zephyrhills, and Thomas G. Bires (Judy) of Dade City; and grandchildren: Laura Seita (Domenic) of Exeter, RI, and Stephanie Bires of Richmond, VA. A private funeral mass was held at 10am on Friday, May 15, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dade City. Burial took place at Chapel Hill Gardens in Dade City, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Helen's memory to Metropolitan Ministries or a food bank of your choice. Arrangements are being handled by Hodges Family Funeral Home.
