ANDREWS, Helen Ruth, age 89, of Zephyrhills, passed away on August 17, 2023. She was born on July 13, 1934, in Canaan, Maine to parents Horace Alton Bryant and Ruth Elizabeth (Staples) Bryant.

Helen moved to Wells, Maine at age 6 and lived there until her marriage in 1955 to Paul Andrews. She graduated from business college with an associate degree in accounting. Throughout her life, she worked in many positions in business, real estate, banking, education, and municipal government. She retired from the position of treasurer in the town of Wells, Maine.

Helen and Paul lived and worked in several states due to Pauls work transfers. She served in many church and community activities as a youth leader, Sunday school teacher and superintendent, and as a cub scout den mother. Helen held local and state offices in Junior Womens Club.

Most of all, Helen loved her savior Jesus. Being a staunch New Englander, she was committed in all that she did. Her family was the focus of her daily conversations with her children. She cherished time spent in conversation with her grandchildren whom she loved unconditionally.

Helen is preceded in death by her husband: Paul Rossiter Andrews: and one great-grandson: Wyatt Frost

Survivors include one son: Scott Andrews (Sharon); one daughter: Terri Coln (Robert "Charlie"); five grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.

A celebration of Helens life will be held on Friday, August 25. 2023 at 11:00 AM at Zephyrhills Alliance Church, 6251 Fort King Rd, Zephyrhills, Florida.
