Heeliya Sandra Harrison, 65, of Wesley Chapel, FL, passed away on March 10, 2025. She was born on February 24, 1960, in Chaguanas, Trinidad and Tobago, to her loving parents Bashlal Khadoo and Savitri Chaitram.

Heeliya moved to the United States in the late '70s to further her education and pursue the American dream. She attended St. Augustine Girls' High school in Trinidad before pursuing her Associates Degree in the U.S. at Tampa Technical Institute. Through hard work and determination, she established a successful cleaning business, which she owned and operated for 25 years.

On September 25, 1981, she married James Harrison in Tampa, FL, and together they built a beautiful home and raised their family in Wesley Chapel, FL. Heeliya had a passion for gardening and loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed cooking, dancing and bringing joy to those around her.

She is survived by her devoted husband, James Harrison of Wesley Chapel, FL; her children, Alisha Ditmar (Grant Ditmar), Sarah Jones (Jerome Jones); and her cherished grandchildren, Jordan and Maya Ditmar. She also leaves behind her beloved father, Bashlal Khadoo; her siblings, Himati and Ranu; cherished pets, Jack, Nala and Max, as well as many other family members and friends.

Heeliya was preceded in death by her mother, Savitri Chaitram, and her brother, Harris.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Hodges Funeral Home, with a viewing at 1:00 PM and a service at 2:00 PM.
