McARTHUR, Vernia Hazel 94 of Magnolia Manor in St. Marys, GA and formerly of Dade City, FL passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at her daughters residence in Woodbine, GA. She was born in Ashford, AL to Jesse and Alma (Eubanks) Brackin. She was a member of the Trilby United Methodist Church, trilby, FL. For 20 years she worked as the Activities Director at The Home Association, Tampa, FL. Her hobbies included gardening, reading and cooking. She was known for her famous macaroni and cheese. While residing at Magnolia Manor she enjoyed participating in all the activities, especially Bingo. Hazel was a devoted Mother to Robert Craig McArthur of St. Petersburg, FL, Colleen Weinkle (Steve) of Woodbine, GA, Bruce McArthur (Elaine) of Lutz, FL, Donnie McArthur (Lori) of Dade City, FL, and a Loving Grandmother to 7 Grandchildren, and 9 Great- Grandchildren. A graveside service will take place at 1:45 pm on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Woodlawn North Cemetery, 3260 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL. Graveside Service
