Harold "Fat Daddy" Sasser 78 , of Dade City, FL passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017. He was born October 25, 1938 in Trilby, FL to Livigor Hillard & Pauline Hines Sasser and was a lifelong area resident and graduate of Pasco High School in 1957. He worked for West Coast Growers (Lykes Pasco Packing Co.) for 37 years before retiring in 1992. He attended the First Baptist Church of Lacoochee and was active in the Rodeo circuits all over the United States with his children. Harold is survived by his wife of 59 and a half years: Jeanette Sasser; 2 children: Lisa (Mike) Belcher, Spunk (Kelley) Sasser; grandson: Dakota Belcher; great grandson: Layton Moesching; 6 siblings: Paul (Joyce) Sasser, Joyce (Johnny) Bush, Linda (Lamar) Newsome, Jack (Suzane) Sasser, Vicki (Tony) Hart, Connie (Mike) Hobbs; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Livigor Hillard & Pauline Sasser and granddaughter: Lara Dewees. Funeral Services will be held 6pm Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Lacoochee. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm Monday evening at the church. Visitation
