Harold Edgar Jones passed away March 19, 2016. He was born was December 1, 1927 to John Paul Jones and Edna Mae Bruce. Harold entered the Navy out of High School he served in War World II. After service he attended The University of Tampa but was called back to active duty in his third year, and served in the Korean conflict. He retired from Thatcher Glass after 25 years of employment. Harold was a loving father dedicated to his family and adored his wife Betty Lou Dean who survives him. He had five children Harold Lynn, Linda Susan Stanley, James Donald, Derenda Dean Sislak (Mark Sislak), Stephen Paul (preceded in death); Eight Grandchildren Lynns daughters LeighAnn and Erin Michelle; Lindas son Michael Paul; Dons children Melissa Danielle, James Donald Jr, and AmyRene ; Derendas daughters Savannah Lauren and Jana Marie; Nine Great Grand Children. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City where services will take place at 2:00 pm.
