Harold E. Gruber 89, of Dade City, FL passed away Monday, November 19, 2018. He was born August 2, 1929 in Toledo, OH to Charles Irenus & Juanita L. Omen Gruber. He was a retired Master Sargent from the U.S. Air Force and then worked for the Bedford School System in Pennsylvania for 25 years teaching Automobile Mechanics. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dade City, the Interdenominational Men's Prayer Group , the Kumquat Region AACA (Car Club) and served as a volunteer at the Florida Hospital Zephyrhills for 24 years. Harold is survived by his wife: Marjorie D. Henry; 5 children, 3 step children and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Joan. A memorial service will be held 3pm Sunday, November 25, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church in Dade City. Interment will take place at a later date at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either the First United Methodist Church of Dade City, the American Cancer Society or to Florida Hospital Zephyrhills Celebration of Life Service
