IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Guy Robert
Nolan
November 1, 1955 – November 14, 2024
Guy Robert Nolan, aged 69, passed away peacefully at home on November 14, 2024. He was born in Troy, New York, to John "Jack" Nolan and Patricia (Barnes) Nolan. Guy was raised in Saratoga Springs, New York, where he developed his love for thoroughbred racing. Guy held several jobs throughout his lifetime including working as a courier traveling between New York, Paris, and Switzerland. Guy also held his real estate license and G.R.I. for several years. He was a member of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT) for over 20 years and rose to the rank of foreman and general foreman while working at Walt Disney World in Orlando.
Guy married Mary Anne (Dossenbach) in 1996 after dating for 9 years. Guy and Mary Anne were together for over 38 years and loved traveling together including numerous trips to the great Smokey Mountains, New York, St. Louis, Lake of the Ozarks, and Paris. They loved watching Cardinal baseball together. Guy also shared his love of motorcycles with Mary Anne, and they often rode through the Florida countryside together.
Guy was always the life of the party and never met a stranger. He had an innate ability to connect with everyone he came into contact with and to make that person feel special.
Guy is survived by his wife, Mary Anne; his mother, Patricia (Barnes) Nolan; his brother, Phil Nolan; sisters, Pamela Nolan and Melissa Nolan; nephews, Christopher Nolan, Jonathan Nolan, and Joshua Nolan; nieces, Meagan Nolan and Alexis Nolan; great-nephews, Carter, Harrison, and Sebastian; and brother-in-law, John (Janice) Dossenbach.
