PEREZ, Gloria Esther, 82, of Zephyrhills, FL, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 10, 2022. Gloria was born on July 11, 1939 in Salinas, Puerto Rico to parents, Santos Rodriguez, and Natividad Santos. Gloria married her love, Hector Perez Ortiz, and devoted her life to being a stay-at-home mother, where she found her love for sewing, crocheting, embroidering, and being a seamstress, she also had a love for cooking, gardening, and music! She is survived by her husband, Hector Perez Ortiz, her children; Easterlin Melendez, Judy Gonzalez, Leonor Perez Rodriguez, Yadhira Perez Rodriguez, Sharon Perez Rodriguez, and Veronica Melendez, 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, her parents; Santos Rodriguez, and Natividad Santos, Siblings; Miriam Melendez, Moises Torres, Violeta Pineiro, and Luis Torres, Friends; Carmen Zambrana and Olga Rodriguez. She is preceded in death by, her daughter, Dolores Melendez, and brother, Edwin Torres. A memorial mass will be held on March 18, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Tampa, FL.
