Glenna Gertrude Harrison 94 of Zephyrhills, FL passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 surrounded by her children and family.

Glenna was born on April 12, 1931 to Raymond and Gertrude Bittel of North Olmstead, Ohio. After graduating from North Olmstead High in 1949 her family moved to Lutz, Florida where she met the man of her dreams, Jack Harrison, who became her husband of 64 years. During their marriage, she kept life interesting raising 4 children (2 boys and 2 girls), playing volleyball, square dancing, camping, family vacations and singing in the church choir.

She is predeceased by her husband John R. “Jack” Harrison. She is survived by her children, “The 4 D’s,” David Harrison, Daniel Harrison (Sue), Diane Cartwright (Daniel) and Doreen Harrison; 5 grandchildren, Jennifer Harrison, David Lee Harrison (Katrina), Matthew Harrison, Joseph Cartwright (Lauren), Jesse Lynn Cartwright (Jason Benson); 4 great-grandchildren, Brett West (Autumn), Brooke West, Cash Benson, Ashton Harrison and Step great-grandson, Cameron; 1 great-great grandchild, Ayla Parker.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, April 17th at 2:00pm at Hodges Family Funeral Home, Zephyrhills
