Obituary

Glenn Trojnar, 73, of Brooksville, Florida, passed away on July 7, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Glenn was born on May 25, 1953, in Binghamton, NY, to Arthur and Dolores Trojnar. He is survived by his loving wife, Vanessa Trojnar, his sons, Joel and Dana Trojnar, and four grandchildren, Cooper, Grady, Celina and Noah; his brothers, David and Mark Trojnar; sisters-in-law, Maryalice and Cindy Trojnar, nephews Christopher, Jason, Zack and nieces Marissa and Amanda.

He graduated from Binghamton North High School and earned certificates in Computer Aided Design from Broome-Tioga Board of Cooperative Educational Services. He had a distinguished career in aerospace with companies including General Electric, Lockheed-Martin, and Raytheon. He was awarded several patents and managerial awards for mechanical design of components for the Boeing 777 aircraft and Space Shuttle rockets.

As an accomplished drummer and harmonica player he played and composed music in numerous bands throughout his life. Genres included rock, blues and Christian music. His passion for music was superseded by his love and passion for the teachings of Jesus Christ. He was a dedicated student of the bible, and he worked hard to practice his faith and share the word of God.

Glenn’s tenacity to overcome any obstacle, his devotion to his faith, and love for his family will be missed and forever remembered.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at New Wave Church, 34275 Cortez Blvd., Ridge Manor, Fl 33523.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to New Wave Church at the address listed above.
