Geraldine "Geri" Marie Greene Wills, age 56, of Dade City passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, August 27, 2025 at Gulfside Hospice, Zephyrhills, Florida. She was born July 13, 1969 in Conneaut, Ohio to the late Aubrey and Charlotte Campbell Greene.

Geri grew up in Conneaut Ohio, where she graduated from Conneaut High School in 1987. She then attended Edinboro University where she worked to put herself through College to earn a B.A. in Accounting in 1996.

Geri moved to Tampa, Florida in 1996 after graduating college. Shortly after getting settled in, she met her husband Kenneth (Ken) and his daughter, Nichole. They Married in Trilby, Florida in June 1998. Just after getting married they welcomed their first child, Nathan, in November 1999, and a few years later they welcomed their second child, Allison, in April of 2003.

Geri joined the American Board of Pathology staff as an Accountant in October of 2005 where she enjoyed 20 years of employment. Over the years, Geri has had a very happy career working at ABPath where she says she has had the opportunity to work with wonderful people who treated her like family.

During her free time, she enjoyed sewing, general crafting and most of all spending time with family. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors walking her dog. The warm climate and sunshine are what attracted Geri to move to Florida.

Geri was preceded in death by her parents Aubrey and Charlotte.

Geri is survived by her husband, Kenneth "Ken" James Wills, her children: Nathan James Wills, Allison Charlotte Wills, stepdaughter Nichole Christine Ann Wills, daughter-in-law Brianna Wills, and her grandson: Michael Aubrey Wills, her brother: Thomas & spouse JoAnn Greene of Lexington, North Carolina, her sister: Janet & spouse Steve Hayes of Winston Salem, North Carolina, her mother-in-law: Lela Wills, her sister-in-law: Stephanie Wills-Schatteman & spouse Eric, along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A visitation for Geraldine will be held Tuesday, September 2nd from 11:00-1:00 p.m. at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Gardens, the adjacent cemetery.

In honor of Geraldine's compassionate spirit, the family has requested donations be made in her name to your local VA Hospital or Humane Society.
