Gerald David Strickland, 61 of Dade City, passed away March 24, 2016 of natural causes. Born in Dade City, FL. on March 30, 1954. He is survived by his wife Sandra; sons: Thomas Groseclose, Christopher Groseclose, Eric Covington, and Mitchell Strickland; brothers Jimmy Hay and Robert Hay; sisters Carol Bentley and Judy Florer. He has 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, along with several nieces and nephews. Gerald (J-Dawg) served our community as a 39 year veteran of the City of Dade City. He will be greatly missed, and never forgotten!A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 2nd at 1:00 at Hodges Family Funeral Home on 5th St in Dade City.
