Obituary
Gerald W. Newton 80, of Dade City, FL passed away Thursday, May 5th, 2022. He was born February 11, 1942 in Moultrie, GA to Woodrow Wilson Newton and Paris Elizabeth Beverly Newton. He was a retired Teacher and active in numerous areas with the local sports programs.
Gerald is survived by his wife of 60 years: Carolyn Newton; 2 sons: Tyke and Alan; 3 grandchildren: Erica, Boomer, and Nicholas; 1 great granddaughter Mattie; and his sister Laura Stimson (Larry).
Funeral Services will be held 3pm Tuesday, May 10th, 2022 at Calvary Assembly of God Church in Dade City. The family will receive friends from 1:30pm to 3:00pm service time at the church on Tuesday. Burial will follow at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Flowers will be gratefully accepted or those that wish may make donations in his memory to either the American Cancer Society or the Gerald Newton Scholarship program.
