DIEFFENBACH, Gerald R. 74 of Zephyrhills, FL died on Saturday, March 26, 2016 in Dade City. Gerald was born in Johnson City, NY to Riker Lewis & Lillian J. (Strope) Dieffenbach and moved to this area in 1982 from Erin, NY. He worked for the Department of Transportation. Gerald was preceded in death by his daughter Mary, Son Paul, Brother Robert and the Mother of his children, Kathleen Perrault. He is survived by his loving family; children Michael (Peggy) Dieffenbach, Patricia (Paul) Crowley-Horsehead, Jean (Henry) Petz, and John Dieffenbach, Siblings; Richard Dieffenbach and Betty Phillips, 8 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren. Geralds family will receive friends on Thursday, March 31st from 12:00 until service time at 1:00 pm, at the Hwy 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home, he will be laid to rest at Floral Memory Gardens.
