George "Moose" Near went to be with the LORD on June 28, 2020. He is preceded by one son, Brad Near. He is survived by his loving wife, Poppy; two sons: Brent and Trent; plus many relatives and numerous friends.

He is greatly loved and sorely missed. The family will be holding a "drive-thru" memorial on Jul 11, 2020 between 2pm and 4pm at his residence.
