It is with sadness that George R. Karibians daughter announces his passing on April 11, 2016 at age 86. He passed peacefully with his daughter and dear friends, Don and Joan by his side. George was born in Somerville, MA on April 3, 1930 to Dickran and Seranoush Karibian who emigrated from Armenia. He grew up in Watertown, Massachusetts then moved to Framingham where he had his business, Georges ARCO, then moved to Marlborough before he retired to Zephyrhills, Florida. He served in The United States Air Force during Korean War. He loved golf, playing pool, and dancing at the Moose. George was preceded in death by his by his brother, Richard. George leaves behind his daughter, Ellen Karibian; sisters, Rose Karibian, Alice Mellian; niece, Lisa Bida and family; special friends, Don (Joan) Joy and Ora Mullins. Ellen would like to thank Royal Oak Nursing Center for their loving care and friendship as well as Florida Hospital Zephyrhills. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. George would be happy to be thought of over a shooter or nice glass of wine. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
