Gene Lively, 70, of New Port Richey, died Monday, March 21, 2016. Gene was an English teacher at Gulf Middle school for 35 years, retiring in 2009. He devoted his life to children, both at school and at church. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Kathleen Lively; his sons, Dan Lively (Heather) and Andy Lively (Nicole); his brother, Bob Lively; and two granddaughters. A memorial service will be held at 10AM on Friday, March 25th, at Victorious Life Church of Wesley Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
