Gayle Morrison Hogan passed away January 10th, 2025, following a valiant battle with cancer. She was born February 25th, 1934, in Louisville, Mississippi.

She met and married Bob in Memphis and began her life as a devoted mother and Navy wife. This provided opportunities for travel, and she made long-lasting friendships wherever she was. From snowy Newfoundland to sunny Key West and many places in between, our hearts are filled with these memories and experiences as a family.

They moved several more times in Florida after retirement from the Navy. Brandon, where she was a realtor. Ormond Beach, where she loved beach walks and Daytona races. Then to Valrico where she combined her passion for travel and antiques to begin her antique shop venture. Always creating new bonds and friendships along the way.

And as she frequently said, Dade City was the best place they could have chosen to finally retire. For over thirty years, she found such happiness here. Her garden where she spent many, many days, her wonderful antique shop and her involvement in the church. But it was the people of Dade City that she found most precious.

She leaves behind her daughter Romana and son-in-law Jim, sons Tim and Matt, grandsons Cameron, Noah, and Sully, as well as great granddaughter Opal. Gone before her husband Bob and son Bill.

A memorial service will be held at Dade City First United Methodist Church, Saturday, February 8th, 2025, at 2PM.
