Gary Wiley Turner, 63, of Cape Canaveral, Florida and Dade City, Florida passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 1, 2018 in Dade City, Florida.Gary was born in Searcy, Arkansas on July 24, 1955. He graduated from Piper High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and continued on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. Gary worked as a corporate banker for more than 30 years in multiple Florida markets, including Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, and Miami. He enjoyed traveling, boating, fishing, golfing, and watching his beloved Florida State Seminoles play football.He will be sadly missed by his wife, Leah P. Turner; his sister in law, Margaret P. Ridge; his brother and sister in law, William R. Povey (Heloise); his father and mother in law, William D. and Emily C. Povey; his four nephews: Harrison Povey, Tanner Povey, Logan Ridge, and Povey Ridge; and the rest of his family and friends.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Turner and Willie Mae Turner.Gary was an avid lover of animals, especially his beloved Airedale Terrier Cocoa. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, 3607 N.
