Bass, Gary Dean, age 46, of Dade City, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012 after being ill with cancer for 2 years. He was born in Williamsport, IN on April 6, 1966 to Sherman H. and Reatha Bass of Veedersburg, IN. He attended school in Veedersburg, IN and was self-employed as owner of a concrete/construction company. His hobbies included fishing and camping. Gary is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Sherman. Survivors include his wife Elizabeth l. of Dade City; 3 daughters, Beth, April and Melissa and 3 son-in-laws, Mike, Scott and Nick all of Dade City, 8 grandchildren; 2 brothers: Harold of Grenhill, IN; Robert of Newtown, IN., 2 sisters: Patty of Crawfordsville, IN and Karen Rudd of Tilton, IL and many nieces and nephews, Visitation and services will be held at Hodges Family Funeral home 5th Street Chapel on Saturday from 1:00 -2:00 PM with a service at 2:00 PM.
