Franklin David Messick. 80 passed away on Tuesday. March 10, 2015 at Shands Hospital in Gainesville. FL. He was a resident of Trenton, Fl for the past 15 years. He is survived by his wife Lorene Cornett Messick, one daughter, Debra Alberta Messick Kubacki of Dade City, FL and two sons, Joe Randall Messick and Kenneth WayneMessick of Trenton, Fl., one brother William Colin Messick of Melbourne, Fl and one sister Donna Gail Messick Kaufmann of Lehigh Acres, Fl., five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased in death by one son, Arthur David Messick of Naples, Fl., his parents Arthur and Mertie Lee Messick of Dade City, Fl. , two brothers Arthur Frazier Messick of Naples, Fl and James Carl Messick of Dade City, Fl., and two sisters Jean Messick Jekabsons and Esther Lee Messick Koert of Naples, FL. Mr. Messick grew up in Dade City, Fl then moved to Naples, Florida where he farmed for many years before moving to Trenton, Fl. Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Messick will be Saturday March 21 at 2 pm from the 301 chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City, Florida with internment to follow in Floral Memory Gardens
