Frank D. Gilmore, 84 of Wesley Chapel, Fl. husband of the late Ellen Gilmore passed away Saturday July 15, 2023. He was the son of the late Alton and Evelyn (Machell) Gilmore. Born December 16, 1938 in Hartford, CT. Frank met Ellen in Manchester, Ct before moving to East Hampton, Ct. Frank was retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft of Middletown CT where he was a machinist, supervisor and then move up to a process engineer. After his retirement he decided he was too young to stop so, he then purchased Quail Run RV Resort, with Ellen, her brother Clem (deceased) and Ann Watson in Wesley Chapel Fl. Along with his wife Ellen of 62 years, he is survived by his three children Ruth Checko (Frank), Frank Gilmore Jr., (Donna), and Kevin Gilmore. He is also survived by his three beloved grandchildren, Brittany Plummer, Kyle Gilmore (Tori), and Elizabeth Adams, (Ryan), two great-grandchildren, Cortland Adams, and Kyle Gilmore Jr., and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Hodge Family Funeral Home, 11441 US Highway 301, Dade City, FL, on Friday, July 21, 2023 from 11:00am-12:00pm followed by a service at 12:00pm. Entombment will take place at Chapel Hill Gardens following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chapters Health Hospice Care, 12260 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville, FL, 34613.
