Francis M. Hutson (Hut), 88, of Zephyrhills, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2019. He was born in Paxtang, PA, the oldest of two sons of parents, Harry and Blanche Hutson. At the age of 18 Hut married the 17 year old love of his life and they settled to raise a family of three children in Catonsville, Maryland. After completing a long career as a Baltimore City, Maryland Police Lieutenant, Hut and his loving wife, June (Wenker) Hutson, sold their Maryland home and became Snowbirds, spending their summers at their mountain home in Breezewood, PA and their winters in Zephyrhills. In 2010 Hut suffered the devastating loss of his partner in life when June succumbed to Alzheimers. In spite of his immense sorrow, managed to maintain his sharp sense of humor and continue to be known as a fervent jokester. In younger days he was an avid hunter, having in his collection a moose head, two deer heads, 2 bear rugs, and a stand up bear from various hunting trips. He will also be remembered as a Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy enthusiast and in recent days a devoted Price is Right viewer. Hut is survived by his three children, Kitty Allen of Delaware, who recently lost her devoted husband, Jim Allen, Dar Scally of Florida, and Garry Hutson (wife Thelma) of Florida. Also survived by eight grandchildren, Jennifer Wallace (husband Sean), Cindy Allen, Kelly Allen, Jayme Scally, Danny Scally, Jeremiah Hutson, Sam Hutson (wife Grace), Sarah Moya (husband Alejandro), and two great grandchildren, Natalie and Cordelia Wallace. Services were provided by Hodges Family Funeral Home, Zephyrhills, and he was laid to rest by Junes side at Chapel Hill Gardens, Dade City.
